Try Grand Cayman scuba diving
Grand Cayman certainly offers a wide range of activities and scenery to
suit almost everyone's needs. One activity that is very popular with
people when visiting Grand Cayman is scuba diving. With it's crystal clear
blue waters there is a wide variety of sea life that can easily be viewed
not far from the beach. There is not only a fantastic array of coral but
there are also wrecks that can be explored.
One of these wrecks is a ship called the Gamma. It is very popular with
divers from all over the world. There are plenty of fish and other sea
life which inhabit the wreck. It is also easily accessible as it is not
very deep in the water.
Some of the coral formations that can be explored when scuba diving in
Grand Cayman are some of the most unique formations you will see. They're
actually quite a few reefs that can be explored within a small area
including sunset reef and seaview reef. These make for some truly awe-
inspiring dives. There is also a reef that is home to some very large
turtles that you can swim with. They're usually quite friendly and don't
mind the extra number of bodies in the water around them.
Due to the popularity of people in Grand Cayman scuba diving, it is now
relatively easy to arrange your own diving excursions with the many boat
operators who would gladly take you out to their favourite spot. You must
obviously meet the necessary requirements and have done all your training
before you will be allowed by them to go into the water. This not only
protects them but also ensures you won't get yourself into any trouble on
your dive. There are some great dives on literally every side of the
island so it is easy to find a quiet place that is not overwhelmed with
other divers.
