Grand Cayman fishing tips

Due to Grand Cayman being located in the Caribbean Sea, this makes for
some fantastic fishing which people travel from all over the world to try
out. There is a wide variety of different species that you can catch
including marlin, tuna and of course the occasional large shark. These
are some of the hardest fighting fish that you'll catch anywhere in the
world which makes this type of sportfishing so popular with millions and
millions of fishermen.

The great thing about Grand Cayman is you'll find a wide variety of
fishing charter boats that you can hire for the day at a reasonably low
cost. These have some of the most experienced skippers who will quickly
get you out to the spot where you have the best chance of catching that
dream fish. Some of the largest fish in the world are caught from this
area so it's no wonder why people go to the expense of flying from the
other side of the world to get here.

There are regular tournaments that you can participate in also where
there are cash prizes for the biggest fish caught. They generally happen
in the early months of the year where fish of hundreds of pounds are
regularly caught. These have even been known to take several hours to get
into the boat and really leaves the fishermen exhausted! You really don't
have to be a professional to enter these competitions as anyone really has
a chance to catch that big fish.

Grand Cayman fishing can be enjoyed almost all year round due to the
climate and the number of fish that populate around the island. You don't
even have to hire a charter boat if you do not wish as fishing off the
shore can be just as enjoyable although the size of the fish you will
catch will almost certainly be smaller.
